Caitlin Schropp

Caitlin Schropp is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Caitlin completed the Juris Doctor program at Dalhousie University’s Schulich School of Law, where she also obtained a certificate in Law and Technology. During her studies, Caitlin was involved with the Law and Technology Society and the Health Law Institute as a Student Fellow. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada at the Centre for Law and Democracy conducting access to information research. In her third year, she represented Dalhousie in the 2021 Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot. In 2019, Caitlin was a summer law student working with a personal injury law firm in Halifax.

Prior to entering law school, Caitlin obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Business at the University of Waterloo. During her undergraduate degree, she completed several work placements in marketing and sales with health and engineering technology companies.

Caitlin is an avid artistic swimmer, and served as President and Founder of the Dalhousie Synchronized Swimming Club, as well as Vice-President of the Canadian University Artistic Swimming League.
