Caroline Mercer

Caroline Mercer is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She is completing her JD at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law.

During her legal studies, Caroline has worked as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society. She was previously a legal intern at the Samuelson Glushko Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic, and a privacy law intern at Wealthsimple.

Prior to beginning law school, Caroline worked in media and marketing as an audience engagement editor at The Logic. She holds a master of journalism from Carleton University.

Caroline will focus her summer in the firm's Advocacy Department.
