Charlotte Weeks

Charlotte is an senior associate in the property litigation team specialising in providing commercial solutions to a wide range of property disputes.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Charlotte was an associate in the Dispute Resolution department of a large multinational law firm where she advised clients on both complex commercial and property related disputes.

She has experience in advising on various property matters including dilapidations, rent reviews, break clauses, lease renewals, rent arrears, service charge disputes, insolvency matters and lease termination.

Charlotte has advised in the context of High Court (including TCC) and County Court claims as well as mediation forums.

In addition to her commercial experience, Charlotte spent six months during her training contract working at a legal advice clinic providing housing and homelessness advice.


  • Advising on the implications of a PFI Contract of significant value and relating to the management of a large portfolio of properties across the UK.
  • Providing tailored strategic advice to a client in relation to providing vacant possession of a large multi-let office building and shopping centre.
  • Successfully defending a landlord in the High Court in the context of a challenge made by the tenant under an Arbitration Award to determine the rent review of a commercial retail unit.
  • Worked as part of a team representing a major telecoms provider in the context of a multi-million pound joint venture dispute.
