Cheryl Cotton

Cheryl is an associate in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office, where her practice covers matters in employment, labour, human rights, privacy, workers' compensation, occupational health & safety and administrative law.

Cheryl advises employers across several industries, including in the natural resources, energy, retail, food & beverage and technology sectors. She offers tailored advice on all aspects of the employment relationship, from the early stages of recruitment to post-termination.

Cheryl completed her law degree at the University of Alberta, where she held the position of Vice-President Social with the Law Students' Association, and participated in DIVE, an interdisciplinary leadership development program for graduate students.

Prior to law school, Cheryl attended the University of Western Ontario, graduating with an Honors Specialization in Sociology.
