Claire Duckworth

Claire Duckworth is the CFO for Gowling WLG Canada and a member of the firm's Canadian leadership team.

In her role, Claire is responsible for all the firm's finance functions — including strategic planning, business analysis, financial reporting, financial risk management, and process transformation.

A chartered accountant with more than two decades' experience, Claire began her career in audit and due diligence at EY Canada. She has held senior roles at Signal Hill Equity Partners, as well as with a number of traditional and digital media publishing companies, including The Globe and Mail and Kaboose Inc.

Before joining Gowling WLG, Claire served as CFO and executive director at another large law firm, where she oversaw matters pertaining to financial strategy and operational services.
