Cole Wilde

Cole Wilde is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office.

Cole obtained his JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, finishing with the highest overall academic standing in the Business Law Concentration.

During law school, Cole served on the board of directors for the UBC Law Review as an associate editor and worked as a summer law student with the in-house counsel team at a large Western Canadian grocer. Prior to law school, Cole completed his BBA in finance, graduating first class with distinction from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University.

Cole has been honoured with various awards and scholarships, including the Dumoulin Black LLP Prize in Business Law for the highest overall academic standing in the Business Law Concentration; the Koffman Kalef LLP Prize in Business Law for the highest cumulative grade point average in Taxation, Trusts, and Secured Transactions; the Lawson Lundell Prize in Securities Regulation; the Ladner Prize in Law and the Hon R L Maitland Memorial Scholarship for finishing second year with the highest aggregate marks; the Irene M Stewart Memorial Award in Law; the Joan Joyce Carter Memorial Scholarship; and the Graduating Class of Law 1967 Award.
