Cole Wilde

Cole Wilde is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver Office. He is pursuing his JD at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia and is expected to graduate in 2023.

During his legal studies, Cole served on the board of directors for the UBC Law Review as an associate editor during the first semester of his second year. Based on academic achievements during law school, Cole was awarded the Joan Joyce Carter Memorial Scholarship and the Graduating Class of Law 1967 Award.

Prior to law school, Cole completed his BBA in finance, graduating first class with distinction from the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. He also worked as a summer in-house law student for a Western Canadian company during his 1L summer, focusing his efforts on real estate transactions.

Once he graduates from law school, Cole is seeking to build on his academic background in finance and pursue corporate solicitor’s work.

Aside from studying law, Cole enjoys playing and watching sports, biking, and skiing.
