Connor Macdonald

Connor Macdonald is an associate in Gowling WLG's Hamilton Office. His practice focuses on intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on trademarks.

Connor earned his juris doctor and bachelor degrees at Western University. Before law school, he earned a bachelor of management and organizational studies with a specialization in finance.

During his time at Western Law, Connor was an active participant in the school's community. He competed in several mooting competitions and acted as a mentor to first-year students. He also volunteered as a student director at Western's Business Law Clinic, and as a managing editor at the Western Journal of Legal Studies. In recognition of his extracurricular involvement, Connor received the Nidhi Kanika Suri Memorial Award and the Student Legal Society's Community Engagement Award. Before graduating, he was also awarded the Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt Award in Corporate Finance.

In his spare time, Connor enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling and cooking.
