She also provides advice on aeronautics, Indigenous and environmental matters as they intersect with land use and development.
Crystal represents developers, land owners and various companies and organizations with interest in land, including not-for profit and charitable organizations. Crystal has appeared before many courts, committees, city councils and tribunals, including the Provincial Offences Court, the Ottawa Property Standards Committee and the Ontario Land Tribunal (formerly the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal and the Ontario Municipal Board).
Crystal considers herself a community builder. She developed her interest in municipal law through local volunteer work that led to the construction of a not-for-profit day care centre, giving her the opportunity to work through a complete development project from start to finish.
