Daniel Rizzi

Daniel Rizzi is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Daniel completed his JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. As a research assistant for Professor David Vaver he explored all things related to intellectual property (IP). As part of the school’s IP intensive program, Daniel spent a semester at the Canadian Intellectual Property office where he saw the internal workings of Canada’s IP system, explored potential blockchain applications in government operations, and completed a jurisdictional scan on the legal implications of using artificial intelligence in governmental decision making. Always one for the cutting edge, Daniel follows many industries closely, including the fintech, AI, and pharmaceutical industries.

Daniel will focus his articling term with an intensive rotation in the IP Department.
