David Park

David Park is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

David completed his JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. As part of Osgoode's IP and Technology Intensive program, David completed internships with Alectra Utilities and York University's BEST Lab. He is a recipient of Gowling WLG's Best Blog in IP Law and Technology award. During his studies, David volunteered as a fellow in the IP Osgoode Innovation Clinic and competed in the Harold G. Fox IP Moot.

Prior to entering law school, David completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at McMaster University. David previously worked for Bayer's general counsel and gained valuable experience in various areas of law in the context of the pharmaceuticals industry. Additionally, he learned about Canadian food and drug regulation while working with Bayer's Quality Assurance team during his undergraduate summers.
