Demar Pitter

Demar Pitter is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Demar will focus his summer work in the Intellectual Property Group.

Demar is completing his JD at the University of Ottawa and is entering his second year.

Prior to entering law school, Demar earned dual bachelor degrees with honours in molecular biology/biochemistry/bioinformatics (MB3) and chemistry. He then worked as a research assistant in pulmonary genomics studies before earning a doctorate’s degree in organic chemistry. Demar has contributed to several peer-reviewed articles in bio-organic chemistry and genomics.
