Ekaterina Fourmanova

Ekaterina Fourmanova is an associate in Gowling WLG's Moscow office and a registered trademark and industrial design attorney also admitted for Appellations of Origin of Goods since 2013. Her practice focuses on trademark and industrial design prosecution, licensing, advice on copyright matters, IP protection and enforcement.

Prior to joining the firm, Ekaterina served as an in-house counsel at one of the world's largest FMCG companies and was involved in strategic IP planning, product clearances, look-a-like enforcement and anti-counterfeiting matters.

Ekaterina holds a Bachelor of Law from the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property and an LL.M. in IP from the Double Degree Programme offered by Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje jointly with the University of Strasbourg (CEIPI).

Ekaterina is a certified user of Anaqua, an intellectual asset management software and maintenance system for worldwide IP portfolios. She also works with such systems as WebTMS and Memotech.

Ekaterina is a member of European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA) Design and Membership & Disciplinary Committees. 

Ekaterina is fluent in Russian and English, with some abilities in French.
