Elie Laskin

Elie is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. She is currently completing her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School.

While at Osgoode, Elie has undertaken a specialization with the Osgoode Mediation Clinic where she has successfully mediated disputes involving conflicts between employers and employees, families, and professionals and their clients. 

Elie has actively participated in mooting and negotiation competitions. She was a finalist in the Lerner’s Cup Mooting Competition and was a member of Osgoode’s negotiation team at the Walsh Family Moot & Negotiation Competition.

At Osgoode, she is also an associate editor and the chair of the Recruitment, Selection, and Orientation Committee for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal.

Prior to law school, Elie graduated from McGill University with a BA in Psychology. She went on to graduate from Columbia University with an MSc in Bioethics.

Elie will focus her summer in our Advocacy Department.
