Emilie Beek (née Foster)

Emilie assists clients manage their property portfolios, maintain profitability and resolve disputes in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Emilie advises on a range of property disputes including lease renewals (uncontested and hostile), rights to light disputes, dilapidations claims, possession claims and contested breaks. She also assists with development issues including advising on the enforceability of restrictive covenants and assisting with option and promotion agreements.

Emilie has particular expertise in telecommunications disputes having spent over six months on secondment with a telecommunications operator. Emilie has experience with all aspects of the New Code including Part 4 and Part 5 claims, as well as contractual disputes and termination procedures. Emilie was also part of the team acting on the recent Court of Appeal case Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure Limited v APW Wireless II (UK) Limited [2021] EWCA Civ 90.

Emilie has also assisted clients on a variety of insolvency issues including CVAs, liquidations, administrations and bankruptcy.

Clients include investment funds, property developers, high street retailers, public sector organisations and telecommunications operators.
