Emily Hayes

Emily is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Emily completed her law degree at Queen's University Faculty of Law. Before attending law school, she graduated with distinction from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Studies and History.

While at Queen's Law, Emily acted as a student caseworker with the Queen's Prison Law Clinic and advocated on behalf of clients at Millhaven and Bath Federal Institutions. She was also a junior editor on the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal and an executive member of the Queen's Law Outreach Society.

Emily spent a semester enrolled in the Transnational Commercial Law program at EBS University Law School in Wiesbaden, Germany. She received the highest standing in the International Arbitration Law course.

Emily will focus her articling term with an intensive rotation in the Advocacy Department.
