Emily Hayes

Emily Hayes is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Advocacy department. Her practice includes complex corporate/commercial litigation, insurance and municipal liability, infrastructure and construction disputes, and securities litigation.

Emily completed her law degree at Queen's University. As a law student, she volunteered with the Queen's Prison Law Clinic, where she advocated on behalf of her clients before various tribunals. She was also a junior editor on the Canadian Labour and Employment Law Journal. Emily spent a semester enrolled in the Transnational Commercial Law program at EBS University Law School in Wiesbaden, Germany. She received the highest standing in the International Arbitration Law course.

Emily volunteers with Pro Bono Ontario's Small Claims Duty Counsel program.
