Erin Uberig
Erin Uberig is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Waterloo Region office.
Erin graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, specializing in Political Science. During her studies, Erin actively participated in student government in various elected roles with both the Social Science Students’ Council and the University Senate. After graduating, Erin was elected and served as Vice President of the University Students’ Council.
While attending law school at the University of Exeter in the UK, Erin summered at a large food and hospitality services company as a contracts administrator, developing a subcontractor management program.
Upon completing law school, Erin was employed as a full-time legal assistant at Gowling WLG while working toward obtaining her NCA Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.
As a complement to her advocacy in student government, Erin’s community involvement has also included working with children at a women’s shelter, organizing fundraisers for the Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre, being a first responder during orientation week for first year students, and teaching dance.
Erin enjoys spending time on the water, listening to true crime podcasts, hiking with her dog and reading Agatha Christie novels.
