Fatima Zahra is an associate in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Advocacy Department.
Fatima completed her law degree at the University of New Brunswick (UNB).
During her legal studies, Fatima engaged in various experiential learning opportunities. She was selected for a judicial internship and served as a summer law clerk for various judges at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia. She was also one of four students selected to represent UNB Law at the Canadian National Negotiation Competition. In addition, Fatima worked extensively and intimately with the Fredericton Legal Advice Clinic to facilitate access to justice in the community.
Prior to law school, Fatima completed an international bachelor of business administration degree from the Schulich School of Business at York University. To complement this degree, Fatima also spent a semester abroad at the IÉSEG School of Management in Lille, France. During her undergraduate studies, Fatima held multiple summer positions at the Canada Revenue Agency.
