Gladys Osien

Gladys Osien is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. She will focus her summer in the firm’s Advocacy Department.

Gladys is completing her JD degree at the University of Ottawa in the French Common Law program. While attending school, Gladys works as a senior analyst at the Canadian Institute for Health Information performing analyses on health care resources. She was also involved with Pro Bono Students Canada, working at the Canadian Health Coalition as student project lead.

Prior to law school, Gladys worked in research at the Centre for Genomics and Policy analyzing socio-ethical and legal issues that influence human health and health care.

Gladys holds a H. BSc from McMaster University in Biology and Pharmacology, as well as an MSc in Experimental Medicine from McGill University.

During her spare time, Gladys volunteers at Dress for Success as a wardrobe consultant and plays recreational soccer.
