Heather Lischak

Heather Lischak is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.

Heather completed her JD at the University of Ottawa.

During Heather's legal studies, she spent her summers working as a legal student with Legal Aid Ontario, specifically with the immigration and duty counsel teams. During her first summer and through her second year at law school, she also worked with Parks Canada in the Policy, Legislative and Cabinet Affairs Department.

Throughout her time at the University of Ottawa, Heather was engaged in extracurricular activities, including the Canadian Lawyers for International Human Rights Association as President and she played competitive-recreation volleyball.

Prior to entering law school, Heather earned an honours bachelor of arts at the University of British Columbia majoring in political science and international relations.
