Howard Xin

Howard is a summer law student in Gowling WLG’s Toronto Office. He is currently completing his JD/MBA at Osgoode Hall Law School. 

During his time in law school, Howard was a caseworker at the Osgoode Venture Capital Clinic and the Osgoode Business Clinic. In these roles, Howard was responsible for drafting shareholder agreements, preparing documents of incorporation, and reviewing business contracts for new start-ups.

Howard graduated with distinction from the B.Comm. program at the University of Toronto, completing a specialization in Finance and Economics. He has also passed Level I of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Howard spent his last two summers working for a residential real estate law firm as a summer student, and for AIG Canada’s Financial Lines Claims department as an intern.

Howard currently serves, in a volunteer capacity, as a member of the Fund and Resource Development Committee at Skylark Youth — a non-profit organization that provides youths with access to mental health services.

Howard will focus his summer in Gowling WLG's Business Law Department.
