HyunGu Kang

HyunGu Kang is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

HyunGu is completing her JD/master of environmental studies at Osgoode Hall Law School and York University. During her time at Osgoode, HyunGu has been involved with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Korean Legal Clinic. She has served as a Dean’s Fellow, participated in the Anishinaabe Law Camp, and is an alumna of Osgoode’s Indigenous Lands, Resources and Governance Intensive. With a technical background in natural resources conservation and a bachelor of science from the UBC Faculty of Forestry, HyunGu brings an interdisciplinary approach to legal problem solving.

HyunGu will focus her summer in the firm's Environmental Law Group.
