Inès Rosen

Inès is an associate in the IP/IT team based in Paris and is registered at the Paris Bar.

She is a graduate of the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Masters degree in Intellectual Property) and King's College London (LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Law).

Inès advises French and foreign companies on intellectual property issues (copyright and related rights, trademarks, designs and models), as well as new technologies and data protection.

She represents companies before the French courts and before the French and EU offices.

Over the course of her years of practice, Inès has advised publishing companies, international industrial groups, players in the energy market, banks, interior designers, artists, perfume and cosmetics companies and major goldsmiths, among others.

Experience

  • Assisted and advised companies on the following:
    • In defining appropriate and tailored strategies for the protection of intellectual property rights.
    • In the management of trademark and design portfolios, in France and abroad (filings, renewals, production of proof of use, responses to objections to registration, trademark watch).
    • On the protection, exploitation and enhancement of intellectual property rights: negotiation and drafting of coexistence agreements, assignment, licence and partnership agreements.
    • In complying with data protection regulations and in drafting the associated documentation (confidentiality policy, cookies policy).
    • In settling their disputes out of court (drafting and negotiating settlement agreements).
    • In defining and implementing anti-counterfeiting strategies in collaboration with customs authorities.
  • Also assisted and advised a high-end furniture and decorative objects brand in the negotiation and drafting of manufacturing and distribution contracts, and in the drafting of its general terms and conditions of sale and legal notices.
  • Defended companies in trademark disputes before the French courts and before the French (INPI) and European (EUIPO) intellectual property offices.
