Jean-Nicolas Bissonnette

Jean-Nicolas Bissonnette is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Montreal office. He first joined the firm in the spring of 2016 as a student-at-law.

Jean-Nicolas holds a bachelor’s degree in civil law from the Université de Montréal and a Juris Doctor in common law from Osgoode Hall Law School. As part of his education, he also studied Chinese law at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing.

While studying, Jean-Nicolas was part of the executive committees of Legal and Literary Society and AED Montréal — the respective law students’ associations at Osgoode and the Université de Montréal.

Highly involved in his community, he is currently a director of Montreal’s Club de Volleyball Celtique.
