Jérôme Patenotte is a partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions, with a specific emphasis on private equity transactions in the mid-cap market. He advises and helps capital investors, both foreign and French corporates, mezzanine lenders and management teams on their ventures, investments, transactions, buy-outs, IPOs and restructurings.
He is especially called in to deal with tricky transactions where diplomacy is needed to complete a transaction or to design, negotiate and implement complex preference shares or warrants issues based on performance criteria.
In a global M&A world, he is able to resolve multi-jurisdictional M&A issues in cross-border deals, where cultural gaps have to be bridged first in order for confidence to be established between the parties. He finds ways to make the deals happen.
In Jérôme's view, every closing is a moment of sheer joy and a highlight, whether of a round of EUR.100,000 for a promising project or of a successful secondary LBO exit above EUR.100 million.
