Qualified in the US and with over eleven years of experience gained within private practice and in-house while working in New York City, Suzhou, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou serving clients in English, Chinese and French, John has substantial knowledge, business acumen and developed broad legal experience in various sectors and industries, particularly in telecom, banking & finance and capital markets.

John is also a skilled negotiator who believes in knowing his client and his client's counterparty well. From experience, John knows that ones who prepare best will usually prevail at the negotiation table.

Away from the office, John is an avid fitness enthusiast and has competed annually in local bodybuilding competitions since 2000, with the best result of second place achieved at the 2012 Suzhou Bodybuilding Competition.
