Jordan Epstein

Jordan Epstein works for your workplace.

As an employment lawyer, Jordan helps business leaders manage their human resources. He works closely with clients to provide practical and strategic advice that makes sense for their employment relationships.

Jordan advises employers through all stages of the employment relationship. He provides clients with the foundational documents to begin employment, helps mitigate risk, protects businesses during conflict, and manages competing interests in the event of termination. His goal is to help employers limit their exposure to employment liability and improve their workplace.

Jordan has expertise advising employers regarding: hiring, contract drafting, policy implementation, compensation plans, termination, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, disability management, workplace complaints, human rights, restrictive covenant enforcement, transaction-related services, and COVID-19 matters.

Jordan understands that interpersonal relationships build the foundation of any workplace. He recognizes that employee conflicts can have a negative impact on business operations and helps clients solve issues before they escalate. When a dispute arises, Jordan implements a pragmatic approach to explore resolution and relies on his litigation background to advocate for his clients' interests.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Jordan worked at a boutique firm, where he gained invaluable experience and perspective representing both employer and employee interests.
