Jordan Ropati

Jordan Ropati is a Senior Associate in our construction and engineering team. He acts for a wide range of clients, including funders, developers, contractors and procuring authorities.

He specialises in preparing and negotiating construction and engineering documents, including development agreements, building contracts, consultant appointments, performance security and associated documentation.


  • Advised a major UK contractor on its successful bid for the development of part of a new £400m science hub for Public Health England in Harlow (the replacement of the current Porton Down complex).
  • Advised a joint venture developer (comprising the investments arm of a leading multinational contractor and a large registered housing provider) on the £400m development of the East Wick & Sweet Water communities and associated infrastructure on the Queen Elizabeth Park.
  • Advised a joint venture developer (comprising a leading registered housing provider, specialised modular developer and a local authority) on the Icknield Port Loop housing development in Birmingham.
  • Advised a developer on its successful bid to undertake multiple projects in the regeneration of two town centres in Surrey and also advised the developer on the construction documentation necessary to implement the projects.
  • Advised a local authority (as procuring agency and joint venture partner) in relation to the construction aspects of the procurement of a joint venture partner to develop and deliver a £1billion social housing regeneration scheme in east London.
  • Advised a multinational consortium on its bid for a social housing public private partnership in New Zealand.
