Kaitlyn Kolodychuk

Kaitlyn Kolodychuk is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Calgary office, practicing banking and finance law.

Kaitlyn has experience representing lenders and borrowers on secured financing transactions, including real estate and acquisition financings. Her practice focuses on domestic and international transactions.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Kaitlyn practiced with a national law firm in Calgary. Kaitlyn received both a Canadian and American JD and graduated with high distinction.

  • Counsel to Canadian Bank in its establishment of $47.5 million credit facilities in favour of a joint venture for construction of a hotel in Yuma, Arizona.
  • Counsel to Canadian Bank in its establishment of $17 million credit facilities in favour of Canadian based engineering technology company with operations in the United States and Chile.
  • Counsel to private equity fund in its establishment of $20 million construction facilities in favour of a senior’s housing facility owner and operator.
  • Counsel to lender in its establishment of $16 million credit facilities in favour of a Canadian cannabis company.
  • Counsel to a senior’s housing facility owner and operator in its $125 million sale of five seniors housing facilities and amendment to existing credit facilities.
  • Counsel to building products and engineering company in its acquisition of a US based lumber company.
