Karoline Clarke

Karoline is a partner practising in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office. Her practice is primarily focused on commercial real estate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, leasing and financing.

She routinely assists clients in acquiring and disposing of assets, obtaining financing for new purchases and refinancing for currently held assets.

In addition to transactional work, Karoline provides practical and strategic advice on a broad range of development matters, including mixed-use commercial and residential strata projects, master planned communities, airspace subdivisions and phased developments. She reviews and advises on all manners of legal encumbrances and is familiar with the development agreements and requirements of municipalities across the Lower Mainland.

She obtained her law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2014, and before joining Gowling WLG, she practiced at a well-established commercial real estate boutique law firm in downtown Vancouver.
