Kate Yurkovich is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, practising in the firm's Financial Services Group. Kate works on a broad range of commercial matters, with an emphasis on insolvency and secured lending.
Kate advises secured lenders, debtors, court-appointed officers and other stakeholders in corporate restructurings, bankruptcies and receiverships.
Kate sits on the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) – Ontario Network and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) NextGen Global Committee.
Kate graduated from the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. Prior to attending law school, Kate completed an honours bachelor of commerce from the Ted Rogers School of Management at Toronto Metropolitan University, with a major in global management studies.
