Kathryn Wood

Kathryn is a real estate development lawyer with an established reputation in the housebuilding sector. She understands the issues that are integral to delivering a successful residential development project and sees her role as supporting her clients from the bid stage right through to the sale of the final home and adoption of infrastructure on a site.

Based in Leeds, Kathryn has a wide experience acting for national and regional housebuilders, social housing providers, land promotors and landowners on all aspects of the acquisition and disposal of land for residential-led development and the sale of new build homes.

  • Advising several national and regional housebuilders in connection with the purchase of serviced residential land on former colliery sites in South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire.
  • Acting for Barratt and David Wilson Homes in the purchase of Harworth Estates' largest ever serviced residential land sale by number of plots, at Waverley.
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team of lawyers acting for a registered provider acquiring a back to back contractor led-scheme in North Yorkshire.
