Kathy Tran

Kathy Tran is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office. Kathy first joined the firm as a summer law student in 2017.

Kathy recently earned her JD degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. During her time in law school, Kathy received academic awards for her achievements in both contract law and property law, and consistently remained in the top 10 per cent of her class. To give back to the community, Kathy has volunteered for both Access Pro Bono Society of BC and the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program.

Prior to attending law school, Kathy completed a bachelor of business administration at Simon Fraser University (with a major in human resources and minor in legal studies) and worked in the human resources area of the sports and mining industries.

Kathy is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
