Kayla Burstein

Kayla Burstein is a summer student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Kayla is completing her JD at Osgoode HaII Law School.

Kayla's passion for legal scholarship inspired her to serve as a senior editor on the Osgoode Hall Law Journal. In her final year, she will work as the director of production for the publication. She has also spent time volunteering as a peer mentor and at an immigration law firm.

Prior to law school, Kayla dedicated four summers working at a law firm. Kayla completed her Economics degree at Bowdoin College, located in Brunswick, Maine. She was one of ten students who graduated ahead of time due to early completion of graduation requirements. During her time at Bowdoin, she was the co-president of a dance ensemble and served as a board member and vice-president of Bowdoin College Hillel. Kayla's favourite part of living in Maine was volunteering at Sunnybrook Senior Living home.

Kayla will focus her summer in the firm's Advocacy Department.
