Kayla Burstein

Kayla is an articling student at Gowling WLG’s Toronto office. 

Kayla completed her JD at Osgoode HaII Law School. During her time at Osgoode, she joined the Osgoode Hall Law Journal as an associate and senior editor. Eventually, Kayla became the director of production. 

While working in the litigation department of a law firm for four summers, Kayla witnessed written advocacy change people’s lives for the better. She aspires to work in litigation and private practice to make a difference on a larger scale. 

Prior to law school, Kayla served as a volunteer at an elderly home and as vice-president of Hillel. Kayla values giving back and being a part of a community. 

Kayla is excited to join Gowling WLG’s Advocacy team and to learn from great industry leaders.
