Kean Silverthorn

Kean Silverthorn is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Vancouver office and recently graduated from the University of Victoria law school. Kean first joined the firm as a summer law student in 2017.

While at law school, Kean received numerous academic awards, served as editor-in-chief of the law journal, and acted as vice president of the Business Law Association. Kean also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, and was an academic peer tutor to his fellow law students.

Prior to law school, Kean received his bachelor of commerce from the University of Victoria and completed the Canadian Securities Course. Kean has also worked for the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, a solar lighting start-up, and a multinational home automation firm.

In his free time, Kean enjoys staying physically active.
