Kojo Almasi

Kojo Almasi is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office, and a member of the firm’s lending group. His practice primarily focuses on assisting institutional banking clients with the technical and administrative needs of their mid-market secured financing transactions.

Kojo is highly personable and attentive, placing a high priority on proactively addressing the  needs of his clients. He has assisted clients on a number of matters including a recent nine-figure acquisition loan between several food manufacturers and one of Canada's largest banks. He has also worked on smaller matters such as private mortgages between several non-institutional clients.

By bringing his past and present experiences to bear, Kojo has a unique understanding of how to make clients feel at ease and certain with his diverse life experiences, cultural intuitiveness and keen professionalism.

As a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Kojo attained the Howard S. Black award for finishing first-in-class in Estates Law, as well as the Top Oralist award for the Isaac Alexander Moot.
