Kojo Almasi

Kojo Almasi is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office.

A recent graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, Kojo has a keen interest in oral advocacy and alternative dispute resolution. During his second year, he participated in the Julius Alexander Isaac Moot at the Ontario Court of Appeal, where he won the award for Top Oralist. In addition, Kojo worked with Osgoode's Mediation Clinic including a placement at St. Stephen's Community House, where he helped manage intake and mediated disputes between low-income community members.

During his studies, he received the Howard S. Black Award for the top standing in Estates Law, and served as a Dean's Fellow mentoring and tutoring first-year students in Public Law.

Kojo maintains a keen interest in politics and public interest work. Prior to joining Gowling WLG, he received a BA in Political Studies from Trinity Western University. Kojo also previously worked as a researcher for MPs in the House of Commons in Ottawa. He currently volunteers with the Red Cross, where he serves as a remote crisis responder.
