Kristine Leadbetter

Kristine Leadbetter is the marketing & business development manager for Gowling WLG Hamilton. With an emphasis on driving innovation through collaboration, Kristine’s role is focused on building and strengthening community relationships. 

Kristine works alongside our valued clients, partners, and members of the business community to achieve Gowling WLG Hamilton’s mission of becoming an economic accelerator that connects the firm's global network to Hamilton, and Hamilton to our global network.

Known as a rainmaker and for her ability to execute, Kristine is a strong strategist, relationship builder, and curator of mutually-beneficial opportunities. She is a driven and innovative leader with an entrepreneurial spirit that has enabled her to spearhead significant transformational initiatives throughout her career. Kristine has more than 15 years of experience specializing in marketing, communications, relationship and business development, brand and reputation management, and in building and advancing strategic plans.

Kristine is passionate about connecting people to things that matter, lifelong learning, and supporting the advancement of women. Kristine is a TV producer and host of Lead Better with Kristine, founder and director of the Women’s Network, and is an academic thought leader on women’s networks, leadership, reputation, and social capital. Since earning her Master of Communications Management degree in 2018, Kristine has been published in the Journal of Professional Communication for her paper “Reputation and social capital: A hammer for the glass ceiling” and accepted into the prestigious BledCom conference in Slovenia (2019).

Kristine is a three-time nominee for the Women’s Executive Network Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women awards, and frequently speaks on panels centered on leadership, change management, women’s empowerment, and mentorship.
