Lauren Wilson
Lauren Wilson is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Her practice focuses on family law.
Lauren has exclusively practiced family law since her call to the bar in 2017. Her practice encompasses all areas of family law, including parenting matters, complex property and support issues, domestic contracts, and any other issues that may arise from separation or divorce. She has experience in the area of international child abduction involving Hague and non-Hague Convention countries.
Her practice includes negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation matters. She has experience at all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Court of Justice, Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Lauren worked at a leading Toronto family law firm as an associate. She also summered and articled at one of Canada’s preeminent family law firms before working at a family law boutique.
Lauren is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts Ontario Chapter, including as a member of the 2018 annual conference planning committee and young professional’s subcommittee.
She travelled to Greece in 2017 to volunteer with an international NGO to provide legal advice to displaced persons applying for refuge and asylum.
