Margarita Korotkevich

Margarita Korotkevich is a patent consultant in Gowling WLG’s Moscow office, where she uses her extensive experience and expertise to focus on patent prosecution for clients in the challenging spheres of chemistry and life sciences in Russia and its neighbouring countries.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Margarita served as an examiner in the Russian Patent Office in the chemistry and pharmaceuticals departments. As a patent examiner, she worked in such areas as chemistry, pharmaceuticals, medicine, dentistry, cosmetology and veterinary.

Margarita earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical technology and a master’s in standardization and metrology from the Lomonosov Institute of Fine Chemical Technologies (now MIREA-Russian Technological University).

Margarita practises in both English and Russian.
