Maria has more than 15 years of experience in litigation, trademark prosecution, copyright protection, unfair competition, anti-counterfeit claims and domain name disputes.
She represents international and Russian applicants before the Russian Patent Office, Chamber of Patent Disputes, Russian Intellectual Property Court, commercial courts and the courts of general jurisdiction on a broad range of intellectual property (IP) issues, including trademarks, copyright and corporate names.
As a certified court expert, Maria participates in court hearings as an independent IPR protection expert.
As a certified trademark agent, Maria focuses on trademark-related matters, including due diligence, prosecution, enforcement, licensing and franchising.
Maria is the author of numerous articles for Russian and international titles on IP matters. She is also a regular speaker at local and international conferences.
Prior to joining the firm, Maria was an associate with one of the "Big Four" firms in Russia.
Outside of the office, Maria has a keen passion for ballet and opera.
