Mark Addo

Mark Addo is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Mark obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa in the English JD program. During his studies, Mark was a teaching assistant in alternative dispute resolution. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and served as the co-president for the Black Law Students’ Association (BLSA).

Before entering law school, Mark graduated from the University of Toronto with a BA (Hons.), completing a double major in philosophy and history. Mark previously worked for the legal services department in the litigation division for a municipality, where the experience inspired him to pursue a career in law as an advocate.
