With 14 years' experience advising on real estate finance transactions, Matthew takes a proactive, hands-on approach, with an emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.

Having acted extensively for both lenders and borrowers, he is particularly sensitive to the commercial requirements of his clients and will always seek solutions rather than look for problems.

Acted for ICG Longbow on the real estate aspects of the refinancing of Hilton Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport and the development of a Hampton by Hilton Hotel at Gatwick Airport's north terminal.

Advising HSBC Bank plc in connection with its funding of a borrower's acquisition of the Queens Gate Hotel in Kensington;

Advising Mizrahi Tefahot Bank in connection with its first hotel lending transaction relating to a Holiday Inn Express hotel.

Acting for Santander on the real estate aspects of the refinancing of a portfolio of eight care homes for 90 North in an Islamic finance structure.

Providing real estate advice to HSBC in connection with a £100 million loan to assist a Jersey-based fund acquire a portfolio of eight new build student accommodation buildings.

Acting for BNP Paribas in relation to its funding the development of over 20 student accommodation projects with Unite Group plc.

Advising ICG Longbow in connection with its funding of a large student housing development in Colchester.
