Matt's financing practice includes representing lenders, borrowers and proponents in a number of different sectors, including most recently:

• As counsel to lenders and borrowers on various project and real estate financings, including acquisition, construction, operating and refinancing transactions.
• As counsel to lenders in connection with various independent power projects.
• As corporate counsel to a proponent of a consortium in connection with the design, build, finance and maintenance of a light rail transit line with a contract value of approximately $1.9 billion.
• As corporate counsel to a proponent in connection with the design, build, finance and maintenance of a health care facility with a contract value of approximately $512-million.
• As corporate counsel to a proponent of a consortium in connection with a the design, build, finance and maintenance of a rapid transit project with a contract value of approximately $859.2 million.
• As corporate counsel to a proponent of a consortium in connection with the design, build, finance and maintenance of 558 bridges located in the State of Pennsylvania, financed through the sale of in excess of US$720 million in Tax-Exempt Private Activity Revenue Bonds.
• As counsel to a service provider in connection with the design, build, finance and maintenance of the Emily Carr University of Art + Design campus redevelopment project, with a capital cost budgeted at up to $122.65 million.
• As corporate counsel to a proponent in connection with the design, build, finance and maintenance of correctional facilities with a contract value of approximately $192.9 million.
• As corporate counsel to a proponent in connection with the design, build, finance and maintenance of a rapid transit highway project with a contract value of approximately US$175 million.
