Morris Odeh

Morris Odeh is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Morris obtained his LLB from Benue State University, Nigeria, and completed his LLM at the Schulich School of Law with distinction.

During his graduate program, Morris was the vice president of Dalhousie Law Graduate Students (DLGS), where he contributed to organizing the second edition of the Annual Research Transition Conference, and assisted fellow students in their academic and social activities. Morris’ LLM thesis on artificial intelligence has been nominated for the 2023 Governor General’s Gold Medal.

Prior to his law studies at Schulich, Morris worked with a top-tier law firm in Nigeria for several years, where he handled complex dispute resolution transactions for multinationals and local companies, including some of the globally-renowned companies.

Morris will focus his summer in the firm's Advocacy Department.
