
Bio
Nick Sauder is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Vancouver office. He completed his JD at the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Law.
Nick holds a BA in philosophy from Queen’s University. As an accomplished student athlete, Nick has competed in provincial and national rugby championships during both his undergraduate and law degrees. Nick served as captain of the University of Calgary Men’s Rugby Team.
During law school, Nick worked with PBSC’s Middle School Criminal Mock Trial Project, introducing students to the criminal justice system, and attended the UCalgary Corporate Summer Law Institute in London, where he explored cross-border transactions and key legal and policy issues in the UK and Canada.
Before joining Gowling WLG, Nick spent a summer at a regional boutique firm, assisting with incorporations, financings, and general corporate matters.
In his spare time, Nick enjoys playing, watching, and coaching sports, as well as travelling and discovering new restaurants.
