Nick Twarog

Nick Twarog is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office.

Nick earned his JD at the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Nick helped develop Indigenous consultation protocols for contaminated site remediation in the Yukon and the Northwest Territories. Nick is also an avid mooter, having competed in several tournaments and received a distinguished oralist award at the Willms & Shier Environmental Law Moot.

During law school, Nick volunteered with Pro Bono Ontario, where he assisted low-income litigants through small claims and civil litigation procedures.

Before attending law school, Nick completed the Foundation Year Programme at the University of King’s College in Halifax and finished his bachelor of arts in political science at Carleton University.

Nick will focus his articling term in the Advocacy Department.
