Nils Kupka
- Qualified, Rechtsanwalt, Germany (2014)
Nils Kupka advises clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, representing them before German state courts and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings under a variety of rules.
His recent work includes resolving disputes related to long-term supply agreements, delays in a major offshore wind farm project, post-M&A conflicts, major fraud cases, and cartel follow-on damages litigation. Many of these matters involve complex cross-border issues and procedural challenges, such as claim bundling, mass claim scenarios, urgent injunctive relief, and enforcement.
Additionally, Nils has advised clients on litigation risks stemming from ESG-related topics, including greenwashing, and he stays abreast of the rapidly evolving developments in AI and its impact on dispute resolution.
His clients come from a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on the automotive, renewable energy, financial services, and telecommunications sectors. Nils helps clients resolve disputes efficiently, minimizing business disruption and protecting long-term commercial interests. He can also provide advice on litigation funding.
Nils is a member of the Netherlands Desk at Gowling WLG and serves on the joint working group of the arbitration institutions DAA/DIS/NAI.
