Oana advises clients on the UK tax analysis of their acquisition and disposal of assets and businesses. She provides UK tax-focused assistance to institutional and other investment funds on their acquisition or disposal of real estate portfolios. She provides UK tax advice on cross-border matters and on a range of share incentivisation matters.


  • completing complex stamp duty and stamp duty land tax calculation and returns and relief applications, particularly with a range of buyers/sellers and a mix of deferred and/or contingent consideration payable and cross border;
  • drafting and negotiating VAT clauses in the context of real estate investment transactions and business acquisition;
  • providing capital allowances analysis, guidance and recommendations to real estate investors;
  • tax due diligence, reporting and advising in relation to share options;
  • setting up share option plans;
  • advising a large multinational in respect of dividend exemptions, loan relationship transfers, controlled foreign companies and international movement of capital reporting in the context of an international group reorganisation;
  • advising a UK tax resident but non-domiciled individual on the restructuring alternatives for its businesses.
