Peter Sypnowich

Peter Sypnowich is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office.

Peter is completing his JD at Western Law. He currently serves as chair of both the Canada-United States Law Institute and the Western Business Law Society. Peter also participated in the Torys LLP Negotiation Moot in 2022 and the Bowman Tax Moot in 2023.

Prior to law school, Peter worked for a global investment management firm. He also spent a summer as a trust analyst in the trust corporation of an Indigenous-owned bank in Canada.

Peter is an avid runner and outdoors enthusiast and takes every opportunity to explore Canada’s beautiful provincial parks.

Peter will focus his summer in the firm's Business Law Department.
