Priya Szymanski

Priya Szymanski is a summer student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office, working in the Food and Product Regulatory Group.

Priya is a current law student at the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and recipient of the Schulich Scholarship. During her first year of law school, Priya volunteered with Pro Bono Dalhousie at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service. She is also an executive on the student society for the Food Law & Policy Association.

Before entering law school, Priya obtained an MA in history from Concordia University and an honours BA majoring in history and minoring political science from Simon Fraser University. She has previously worked as a legal project manager and as a legal administrative assistant.

Priya is interested in regulatory law, commercial and corporate law, and contract law.
