Rachel Corwin

Rachel Corwin is a summer student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. She will be working primarily in the Advocacy department.

Rachel is a juris doctor candidate in the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa. She will be graduating in 2023. During her studies, Rachel participated in the Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Law Moot where she placed second as best overall mooter. She worked as a teaching assistant for the first-year French law course “Compétences et habilités juridiques” (Legal Foundations) and was an associate editor for the Ottawa Law Review.

Before law school, Rachel studied French literature and linguistics at the University of Victoria. She was a research assistant and a teaching assistant during her studies.

Rachel worked as a law student in a boutique family law firm in her hometown of Victoria, BC before joining Gowling WLG. Prior to her legal career, Rachel gained extensive experience working with the public and is committed to providing exceptional client service.
